Wednesday 3rd June
Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception
The Meeting will open with an Opening Ceremony in the Pentland Auditorium of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.  This will be followed by a Welcome Reception in the Cromdale Hall, where drinks and snacks will be served. 

Friday 5th June
Gala Dinner and Ceilidh
One of the highlights of ISBNPA 2015 will be the Gala Dinner and Ceilidh, which will take place in the magnificent surroundings of Our Dynamic Earth - a contemporary visitor attraction at the bottom of the Royal Mile.  The venue offers stunning views of Salisbury Crags, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament.  The pre-dinner drinks reception will be held in the Earthscapes Galleries that include a tropical rainforest, polar landscapes and oceans gallery.  Dinner will take place in the Stratosphere and will be followed by traditional Scottish entertainment and dancing.  There will be opportunity to learn some of the Scottish dance steps for the ceilidh during refreshment breaks at the conference.
