What is Natural?
Natural is also a phrase that has come into use for any product or service that is not derived from animal products. It is not a strict definition of what is natural, but rather it is a phrase used by many in marketing to emphasize the health benefits of a product or service.
Natural refers to the fact that the product or service has no added chemicals, no additives or preservatives, and has not been modified by artificial growth or processing agents (usually, artificial sweeteners). A good example of natural is vitamin E. Vitamin E is found naturally in all living things and is essential for the body's own health. What are synthetic chemicals? Synthetic chemicals are any chemicals derived from plant or animal sources. They can include the following: Chemicals are either made from petroleum, natural gas, hydrogen, helium, or other chemical reactions. Chemicals can have multiple chemicals in them, some of which are added to the final product. This is called "bonding." Chemicals are a form of chemical energy that can be used by the body, but not always. They are considered to be "inactive" in the body (that is, they cannot make their way to the body and be utilized).
